What to expect
A once in a lifetime moment takes you deep into the mist shrouded rainforests of the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park on a trek to observe the endangered mountain gorilla. To trek and sit with a family of mountain gorillas is a profound experience for any wildlife devotee. Our Uganda Gorilla Encounter avoids the long drives to and from Kampala taking a scenic flight to enjoy magnificent views as you fly over this majestic country. Stay in a safari lodge located in the national park in a truly picturesque setting with easy access to your meeting point and the start your trek.
Your Journey Begins
Arrive in Entebbe, Uganda where you will be warmly met and assisted to your private vehicle transfer to your boutique hotel in a leafy residential suburb of Entebbe.
Overnight – Hotel No. 5
Private transfer to Entebbe Airport for your scheduled light aircraft flight to Kihihi Airstrip. Met on arrival and drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest and your luxury lodge situated within the park.
Overnight – Buhoma Lodge
Up very early to meet for your briefing and set off with your park guide and the (optional) assistance of a porter on your trek into the equatorial rainforest in search of your designated mountain gorilla family. Trek the slopes for up to several hours as your guide locates a gorilla family. Spend precious time observing the gorillas and when your allotted time is over trek to the starting point and return to your lodge.
Overnight – Buhoma Lodge
Enjoy a day of leisure at your lodge to relax or participate in the variety optional activities available.

Today you will transfer to the Kihihi Airstrip for your scheduled light aircraft flight to Entebbe to connect to your onward travel arrangements.
