Your Journey Begins

Day by Day Itinerary

Day 01
Nairobi

Arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, Nairobi and meet our representative airside who will assist you through the immigration and customs process and escort you to your Wildlife Safari Guest Liaison for your private transfer to your boutique hotel. 

Overnight – Nairobi Hemingways

Day 02
Samburu

Transfer by private vehicle to Wilson Airport, Nairobi for your scheduled light aircraft flight to Samburu. Your private Wildlife Safari vehicle and guide will meet you on landing as you journey to your luxury safari camp on the banks of the Uaso Nyiro River. Enjoy an afternoon of game viewing in this truly unique reserve.

Overnight – Elephant Bedroom Camp

Day 03
Samburu

Spend a day of game viewing  in Samburu, home to exclusive species not found anywhere else including  the reticulated giraffe, gerenuk, Grevy’s zebra and  beisa oryx. With a dramatic backdrop of  mountain ranges, the landscape is semi arid  with the Uaso Nyiro River providing the main source of water within the reserve. 

 Overnight – Elephant Bedroom Camp

Day 04
Ol Pejeta

Up early for an early departure in your Wildlife Safari vehicle travelling to the Ol Pejeta Conservancy. One of the finest private wildlife sanctuaries, Ol Pejeta is unique as the home to the last two remaining northern white rhino, white rhino  and the largest population of black rhino in East and Central Africa. Arrive at Sanctuary Tambarare for expansive views of Mount Kenya from your luxury tent.

Day 05
Ol Pejeta

A day of game viewing activities arranged by your Wildlife Safari guide travelling within the Ol Pejeta Conservancy.  There are plenty of optional activities available including a visit to Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary, the only place in Kenya to observe chimpanzees.

Overnight – Sanctuary Tambarare Camp

Day 06
Lake Elmenteita

Set off and enjoy spectacular scenery as you travel over the Equator on a drive through the Great Rift Valley with continuously changing views as you journey past tea and coffee plantations. Arrive at your luxury safari camp on the shores of Lake Elmenteita, one of the Great Rift Valley lakes. 

Overnight – Lake Elmenteita Serena Camp

Day 07
Lake Elmenteita

Venture out of the conservancy and drive to Lake Nakuru National Park, the famous flamingo sanctuary and home to many aquatic bird species. Lake Nakuru is a breeding sanctuary for the endangered black rhino, white rhino and the rare Rothschild giraffe, relocated to the region in an effort to replenish each of the species. 

Overnight – Lake Elmenteita Serena Camp

Day 08
Masai Mara

Depart on the drive across the floor of the Great Rift Valley to the Masai Mara Game Reserve where you are immediately on a game viewing drive as you pass herds of wildlife on the endless savannah plains. Continue to your intimate tented safari camp set in the heart of the wildlife rich Mara Triangle  where the Mara and Talek Rivers meet.  

Overnight – Mara Ngenche Safari Camp

Day 09 & Day 10
Masai Mara

Spend two amazing days of unlimited game viewing following herds of wildebeest, zebra, gazelle, eland, topi, impala and other wildlife species. Lion, leopard and cheetah are found in greater numbers and concentrations than anywhere else and you may be fortunate to witness one of the big cats stalking its prey. Herds of giraffe and elephant create a magical silhouette against the almost treeless savannah while hippo and crocodile wallow in the Mara and Talek Rivers. 

Overnights  – Mara Ngenche Safari Camp

Day 11
Depart Kenya

Time to say Kwaheri to your Wildlife Safari Guide at Ol Kiombo airstrip and board a scheduled light aircraft flight to Wilson Airport, Nairobi. On arrival you will be meet by our Wildlife Safari Guest Liaison for your private transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport with assistance to your departure gate and onward travel arrangements.

Add More Experiences

Add a unique game viewing experience on a balloon flight drifting over the Masai Mara. Flying so low you are almost skimming over the trees for a bird’s eye perspective of the wildlife below.
