Arrive at Bandaranaike International Airport where a Wildlife Safari representative will warmly welcome you and escort you by private vehicle to your boutique hotel.

Day at leisure at The Wallawwa, an ideal spot to relax and adjust to the tropics. The Wallawwa, a historical manor house, is a delightfully secluded retreat with a wonderful spa and large outdoor pool surrounded by perfectly manicured lawns and lush landscaped tropical gardens.

After breakfast depart on your journey heading north to the Cultural Triangle to explore Anuradhapura, the first capital of ancient Ceylon. Continue to your resort style hotel formerly the ancestral estate of local nobility.
Overnight – Uga Ulagalla
Up early to visit the dramatic Sigiriya Rock Fortress built during the reign of King Kashyapa in the 5th century AD. The rock citadel rises from the jungle and the climb to the summit offers extraordinary views. Admire the Heavenly Maiden frescoes and Mirror Wall with its ancient graffiti, continue to the Lion Paws to reach the summit and ancient ruins of the palace complex. Return to your hotel with the remainder of your day at leisure.

Up early to drive to Wilpattu, Sri Lanka’s largest national park in the north of Puttalam for a game viewing drive by safari jeep. The thick dry zone jungle is dotted with flood plain lakes and offers an impressive variety of flora and wildlife including deer, elephant, wild boar, sloth bear and possible encounter of the elusive leopard.

After a leisurely breakfast depart on your road journey heading towards the misty hills to experience a unique stay in a working tea estate.

Day at leisure to relax in the quiet of rural Sri Lanka, enjoy walks on the numerous trails on the estate, relax by the pool, take a guided visit of the local tea factory or ride a bike through the estate.
