Our Migration Safari is a once-in-a-lifetime journey to experience the best of Kenya and Tanzania. One of the greatest wildlife spectacles of the world is the movement of migrating zebras and wildebeest in search of fresh grasslands and the predators that shadow. Visit the wilderness hotspots of the Masai Mara, Serengeti National Park and Ngorongoro Crater and enjoy the stunning contrasts of these destinations. You will encounter a myriad of wildlife on unlimited game viewing drives in your private Wildlife Safari vehicle with a senior guide.
Your Journey Begins
Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport, Tanzania. Clear customs and immigration formalities to be greeted by our Wildlife Safari representative who will escort you by private vehicle for your transfer to your accommodation on a private estate.
Overnight – Hamerkop House by Lemala
Set off with your Wildlife Safari guide on the scenic drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area to arrive at your safari camp set in an ancient acacia forest.
Overnight – Ngorongoro Tented Camp
Up very early to descend into the Ngorongoro Crater. Enjoy a morning of unsurpassed game viewing as you travel across the crater with a stop for a picnic breakfast. Return to your tented camp for a late lunch with your afternoon and evening at leisure.
Overnight – Ngorongoro Tented Camp
Depart on the picturesque drive through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area heading for the endless plains, rolling hills and acacia woodlands of the Serengeti. Cross the savannah plains, home to massive herds of wildebeest, zebra and gazelle along with buffalo, elephant and giraffe to arrive at your luxury lodge.
Overnight – Nanyukie Lodge
Serengeti, meaning endless plains in the Masai language is world famous for its annual wildebeest and zebra migration, when millions of wildebeest and zebra traverse the open plains in search of fresh grazing lands. Even during the quieter months, the Serengeti offers exceptional game viewing opportunities. Enjoy morning and afternoon game viewing drives with your Wildlife Safari Guide.
Overnight – Nanyukie Lodge
Today drive to the airstrip to board your light aircraft flight over the Serengeti, landing for immigration and customs formalities to arrive into the Masai Mara. Your Kenyan Wildlife Safari guide will meet you on landing and set off on a game viewing drive as you travel to your luxury safari camp located in the heart of the Mara Triangle.
Overnight – Mara Ngenche Safari Camp
Spend two amazing days of game viewing in the Masai Mara following herds of wildebeest, zebra, gazelle, eland, topi, impala and other wildlife species. Lion, leopard and cheetah are found here in greater numbers and concentrations than anywhere else and you may be lucky to witness one of the big cats stalking its prey. Herds of giraffe and elephant create a magical silhouette against the almost treeless savannah while hippo and crocodile wallow in the Mara and Talek Rivers.
Overnights – Mara Ngenche Safari Camp
Time to say Kwaheri to your Wildlife Safari guide at the Ol Kiombo Airstrip and board the scheduled light aircraft flight to Wilson Airport, Nairobi. You will be meet by our Wildlife Safari Guest Liaison for your private transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport with assistance to your departure gate and onward travel arrangements.
