Your Journey Begins
Arrive in Saint-Denis where our Wildlife Safari representative will meet you with a warm welcome and escort you by private vehicle to your hotel in Saint-Gilles.
Overnight – Blue Margouillat Seaview Hotel
Depart on a day of 4WD private sightseeing with your guide travelling through La Plaine des Palmistes up to Plaine des Cafres. Discover the lunar landscape of Plaine des Sables, a caldera formed from the collapse of the second volcano. Continue to the central volcano for views of the almost perfect cone of Piton de la Fournaise. Continue to the South Coast also known as the Wild South due to the dramatic contrasts with the ocean, tropical vegetation and the black hardened lava.
Overnight – Blue Margouillat Seaview Hotel
Today enjoy a full day of sightseeing to Saint-Denis and explore the North-East Coast, a sugar cane growing area. Accessible only by road travel to the largest, greenest and wettest Cirque Salazie. Enjoy a Creole lunch at a local restaurant and visit Maison Folio, a Creole style mansion in the heart of the charming village of Hell-Bourg.

Set off on a half day of sightseeing to the Eden Garden on a picturesque drive heading for the lookout point of Piton Maïdo for views of Cirque Mafate, formed from the magma of one of Piton des Neiges’s historic eruptions.

Day at leisure at your hotel tucked away on a hill with views overlooking the Indian Ocean.
