What to expect
Experience the magic of Zimbabwe on our Classic Zimbabwe journey combining two of the landlocked country’s most iconic spots, the majestic Victoria Falls and remarkable Hwange, the largest national park. Marvel at the wondrous Victoria Falls, one of Africa’s natural spectacles before taking a scenic light aircraft flight into a remote wilderness renowned for its diverse landscapes, plethora of birdlife and epic wildlife.
Your Journey Begins
Arrive at Victoria Falls Airport, where your Wildlife Safari representative will assist you for your private transfer to your Edwardian style classic hotel.
Overnight – The Victoria Falls Hotel
Set off with your guide on private sightseeing of The Falls, one of the seven natural wonders of the world. The walking excursion takes you into the magnificent rainforest along meandering paths leading to Livingstone’s statue, the dramatic Devil’s Cataracts, Main Falls, Horseshoe Falls and Rainbow Falls are some of the sixteen viewing points. In the late afternoon transfer to the jetty to take a leisurely sunset cruise on the mighty Zambezi River.
Overnight – The Victoria Falls Hotel
Day at leisure to enjoy the many facilities at your legendary hotel or take off on one of the many optional activities available in and around Victoria Falls.
Overnight – The Victoria Falls Hotel
Depart for Victoria Falls Airport for your light aircraft flight to Hwange National Park. On landing your bush adventure starts immediately as you transfer by lodge vehicle to your deluxe tented camp. Enjoy an afternoon game viewing activity with your expert camp guide.
Overnight – Linkwasha Camp
Spend two days in Hwange with access to the Makalolo and Linkwasha sanctuaries for your morning and afternoon game viewing activities. Choose to take a guided bush walk, opt for day and night game drives in an open 4WD safari vehicle or spend time in the hide observing the wildlife up close at eye level.
Overnights – Linkwasha Camp
Time permitting enjoy a morning game viewing drive before your light aircraft flight to Victoria Falls International Airport for your onward travel arrangements.
